Default 4L60 speedo calibration help plz

Ihave a 93 Z28 that I just insalled 3.73's in over 2.73's.

Did my trans come with a 17 (RED) tooth drive gear? or a 15?

Do I need a 43 tooth Driven gear?

are 245/50/16 tires 26" tall?

Not sure of what you have in there but you need a 15 drive with a 45 driven. 25.1" tall tire

http://www.transmissioncenter.net/sp...n_______va.htm

The chart on this web page tells me I need a 43 tooth driven gear with 15 tooth drive.

I got 786.58 revolutions per mile
25.64 tire hight

so..

(15 X 3.73 X 786.58) divided by 1001 = 43.97 (44)

If I use your tire height, I get 44.9x (45)

Would you know what drive gear my car came with from the factory?

4l60 uses a "tv" cable to adjust shift, E uses the computer and solinoids

4l60 uses drive and driven gears to calibrate the speedo, the E uses a computer programer.

It depends on how you build it. Internally the parts are interchangeable for the most parts. The later desing 4l65e and 4l70e have 300 mm converters, longer statror support and turbine shaft. But you can get the 4l60 fairly close to holding the same levels of power as an 4l60e just takes money.
