Default new to a glide...questions

I have put together a drag truck. I just picked up a Glide from a buddy.

now.... what converter, and what shifter?

I need around a 3400stall....

and I dont really want to hack up my center console for a new big shifter...

also... there are 2 levers on the side of my powerglide...

I imagine one is for high and low, and the other is for park, and reverse correct?

I have had 4L60's, TH400's.... this is my first glide. any info would be great!!!

A Glide only has one lever on it. Not sure what you have if it has more than one.

Default A stock glide has

2 levers. 1 is the shifter linkage the other is the kickdown linkage.

In a racing app the lever gets changed to a single solid shift shaft.

The converter needs to have a bushing for the turbine.

Converter builders >>> so many choices!!

Shifter >> the one that feels the most comfortable.
