Default Blown seal

What would cause this seal to blow out like that(Over run clutch piston)The picture is a tad big

looks like the overun piston may have exceeded it travel at least thats one possibility

Do you know where I can get those seals?Do I have to use that lip seal or can I use something else..............Paul

about the only place to get it is from a kit , I think a company called WIT "whatever it takes" may sell them individually but not sure

OK thanks.I just read some where but I can't find it now,That you should only use a aluminum OVERRUN clutch piston with a aluminum FORWARD clutch piston.I have the steel forward piston.I'll have to get the aluminum one...............Paul
