Feel bump on 1st to 2nd shift in built 4L60E
Hey
I have a built A-4 with 3000/2.5 stall and have been messing with the shift speed and firmness, trying to get the 1-2 shift a little stronger than stock feel and 2-3 and 3-4 to kinda feel stock, so they are not that hard at all, but when getting on it 1/2 - 3/4 throttle the 1-2 shift feels like I ran over a garden hose, is this the trans jumping and the stock hollow trans mount? and a A/M mount I have is hollow also, now I have seen a energy suspension mount and it's solid, is this common?

at very light throttle with the stall the shifts may not feel that aggressive at all but under throttle and with the converter closer to stall the shift will become firmer and quiet solid with most built units with shift kits, Wether what your feeling is normal I cant say short of riding in car for sure but it kinda sounds like it .
The solid mount will transfer alot more impact to the cars chasis

I feel the same thing its at a certain speed or rpm once in awhile you feel it,
I rebuilt it about 2000 miles ago but other then that it feels great and the bump isn't that hard.
