My 1996 k1500 Suburban have a stock 4L60E with a slipping 1-2 shift at WOT.

I have another 4L60E out of an 2001 c/k 1500 4x4 with an 5.3. Could I use this one in my suburban?

I would like to rebuild the one on my garagefloor as a backup when the otherone fails compleetly.

 

No they will not swap m there and issue with the converter and pilot and it will not work with the 96 lt style engine nor will the 96 converter work in the later trans
