What should i do? I am getting a transgo shift kit for Xmas and want to do a converter shortly after. Which one should I get? I drive this car daily but I want a noticable difference. Thanks for the help.
Re: What should i do? both will give you completely different road manners but the vert will actually net a much larger 1/4 increase....usually you can gain 4-6 tenths with traction just with a vert...though chirping them into 2nd is fun too

Re: What should i do? depends on what your goals are with the car but most suggest 3500 and up...TCI is good bang for the buck, Yank makes the best product but at a premium price...but you get free restalls so if your needs change send it back and they will restall yours...and then precision industries makes decent ones as well but they too are pricey. If im you id go with a 3500 or 3800 if your pretty much stock...i ordered the 3500 only cuz i do a lot of city driving and have 2.73 gears so i didnt wanna go overboard and not have the driveability im lookin for. Have her get you a tranny cooler too b&m has good ones for around 50 bucks and they are a pretty quick install even if your goofing around like i did hehe.
