i have a stage 3 tranny with a 3200 stall and it always hits the damn rev limiter for about 2-4 seconds before shifting, ive asked around and i get all diff answers the two common ones are i need to adjust my shift points and i need a new tranny( which i wouldnt see why) but can anyone help me out?

 

Well , Have you been tuned for the stall ? Have you tried ajusting the shift points ? Those would be the things to do first, If the trans is relativley new and or if these things have not been done then that would be the best course. Its very comon to have to ajust shift points after a stall or even a power adder

 

Probably tuning since after market converters have less efficiency. Hence, your engine hits the limiter before reaching the specified speed in the tune.
