Default stock drivetrain? stall? 400hp?

well the title of the forum pretty much says it all. I have have a completely stock drivetrain, a vig2800 stall and my car dynoed 402 on a dynojet. is this a ticking time bomb? i guess the real question is how much power do you need to start breakin stuff when you are dead hooking at the track? how much power will it take to start breaking stuff on the street? im lookin at doing some more motor mods so jw at about which point i become borderline foolish for not beefing up the drivetrain. thanks.

If you DEAD HOOK at the track you can actually run more power than someone who has even un-noticed wheel hop.
Wheel hop breaks stuff.

crzytown69 is right on. It depends on how you drive it and some 10 bolts last longer than others. If you are going to be beating up on your car this summer, it would be smart to put some money away for a 12 bolt now since you will be getting closer to needing one down the road anyway (future mods). Getting to know somebody with a flatbed wouldn't hurt either.
