hello i have a 05 4l60e on the opperation table .it came from a5.3 tahoe 4x4 (core)and am planning on using it in my ta .thats after the bell housing change,output shaft ,and tail housing.is there any other big differances,i noticed that gm has a pump update between 01 and 05 in the pump to case seal .can anybody tell me if there are any more major changes before i hot rod the main tranny. ill be using trans star and trans go for my parts suppliers.

will my ls1 ws6 bell bolt up,is the plug in the same for the harness/tranny

 

It will bolt up, the bell housing are the same. Update the forward sprag, 3-4 clutch, band etc...
