Default Big thanks to FLT and FTI

Finally got to test the new trans and converter on the street and they work beautiful. Cant tell a whole lot with a 4200 stall and street tires on 30 deg streets but it sure drives nice and tight for a 4200 stall. Stomp on it at 40 mph and it just smokes the tires. Cant wait for the track to open in april to really test out the setup. This setup would be great for a daily driven car. I would highly recommend both of these sponsors. they were great to deal with.

It will be nice to finally tune the car with a tranny that works.

Slowhawk --wait till you drive this thing. If you have not already ordered a verter for the red rocket you will have to drive mine. Its everything you are looking for. Very tight around town. I just hope it hits hard enough. I will be bringing it in for you to tune AFTER the new rear and gears go in next weekend.

Please get this car back in to be tuned. After talking with Don and yourself in the past, the line pressures need to be returned to the factory settings from where they were set at. With you getting a new rear end, I would recommend getting a base tune installed and putting some miles on the new rear before hitting the dyno. It is always best to but some easy heat cycles on new gears. Some guys I have talked to recommend 1000 miles if possible before going racing or even hitting the Dyno. Just a thought. Vince

Vince,

Don had already tuned the computer back to stock line pressures etc before I ran the car. He will need to tune it again to optimize the shift points etc as every verter is a little bit different. Good info on the miles on the rear. will definitely break it in easy.
Danno, I went with a Fabricated 9" , 3.73 and a spool.

Thank you for getting a new base tune in that thing. As for the rear end info, I just thought I would mention it because many guys don't think about it when doing a new rear. I look forward to seeing what your car does this year. Thanks again. Vince
