I spoke to a tech support guy at Transgo yesterday regarding the delayed 2-3 shift with the -3 kit. He recommended I increase the "B" orifice in the separator plate to .130", and increase the length of the spacer on the servo. If that doesn't get it done, I need to pull the trans apart and reduce the piston travel on the direct clutch pack. If that doesn't get the job done then I suppose a different valve body will be my next step, hopefully it doesn't come to that.

the 4l80e has the overdrive, and lock up-the turbo 400 didnt, but you could switch the converter to low stall, and it was almost locked up-so not having the o/d was the main diff-a gear vendors setup would have worked great on it. and a looser converter-i had the 1300/3000 stall, 13" converter, which behind my small motor only stalled around 2200, i should have gotten the 1400/4000, 12" converter, prob would have stalled around 3k-i had about 20 guys wanting the 400, but i'll prob hang on to it, fut project maybe, lol
i actually could throw it back into the chevelle real easy, still have the old trans lines, x mem, driveshaft, etc
