Default Guys with the T400 or T350

I currently have a T56. I am wanting to go to an auto and would like to go with a built 4L60E but think it would be better to go to a T350 or T400. I am buying this old pontiac tank, I forget what kind of car it is and it has a 400 with either a T400 or T350 but I am thinking if has the T400. Anyways, I was going to use that transmission and have it completely gone through. What other things will I need to do the swap? Basically everything down to the last bolt would be nice. Thanks

I think Pontiac and GM TH400s are slightly different, possibly the bolt pattern? Not sure though.

A TH400 from a pontiac is called a BOP Bolt Pattern, and he will have to have an adapter. How well this will work on an LS1 remains to be seen. Personally, I would get a Chevy pattern.

You will need a cooler, A4 radiator, converter, either new crossmember or mod yours, dipstick, shifter, flexplate. The swap isn't too bad. Putting the shifter in can be tricky. There's a little modding and wiring to be done here and there.

What size driveshaft do you need? I'd like to order mine so it is here when the time comes? Also, does anyone have any pictures or write-ups of what needs to be done to the A4 xmember to fit with the T400?
