Default auto to manual pedal assembly, brake stiffer?

Okay when I swapped from to the manual clutch pedal assembly my brake is really tight. It is pressing harder than it did against the metal plate as compared to the auto pedal assembly. Is this normal? The reason I ask is because two plastic sensors are their and it seems like if I put them back in it will break. Now of course when I drive the car the pedal loosens up , but when it is off man are they stiff. I just do not want to break any of the plastic sensors.

Default

The sensor positions are adjustable. With the pedal up adjust them to where they're not going to break.
It's normal for the pedal to be stiffer with the car off and no vacuum assist.
