My car does not currently have a transmission, but while it was out I was wanting to do some painting. Can I lower the car without the torque arm in it? I was just making sure it would be alright without it in.

just leave the t/a in it and put a sponge on the end so it can rest on the transmission tunnel/body

or...

sit it down w/o the t/a, but i wouldnt move it around to much as the rear may snap up
