SS3600 results are in!
1st run ever with converter - 1.71 60' 11.95 @ 114
2nd run on hot lap - 1.69 60' 11.92 @ 114
Not bad for 275/40/17 Nitto DRs
Got exactly what I was hoping for. Hit 11's with my daily driver, grocery getter, droppin my daughter off at day care, 9 year old, 90k mile Camaro
.This converter is very well mannered around town, highly recommended!
When I had 3.73s with the SS3600, I revved up to about 1800 and stabbed it. 1.62s with ease. 1.52 on a 100 shot.
Then I changed to 3.50 gears in a Moser 9" and Mickey Thompsons. To help it get off he line better, 2300rpms seems to work. I pulled a 1.45 with a 125 shot.
Do you have LCA relocation brackets? They will help out a lot!

Suspension is stock. Car is full weight. Daily driver.
This was my first time to the track with a converter. I'd only been driving it a week. Never launched it. I goto the track maybe once a year. I'm pleased so far and I'll improve. Thanks for the advice.

I was thinking of doing a 2800-3200 stall, but I'm starting to get suckered in looking into the 3600 range and it seems most people don't have any complaints.
I'm talking serious daily driver material here...lots of in town (think small town) stop and go traffic. What are your thoughts on mpg and general annoyance?
