Default 4L65E suggestions

I picked up a brand new 4l65E, with stock converter, bought from the factory in 2006 with zero miles.....never had a bell housing bolt in it. Got a great deal and am looking for thoughts on adding a shift kit or upgrading the converter. I wont be racing my car, but will def see plenty of WOT time and occaisional holeshots. I have 30 inch tall by 12 inch wide Mickeys on the back with a 4.11 gear. I dont want to spend alot of money un-necessarily, but dont want to see problems cause I plan to drive alot.

Any thoughts or advice from you trans experts appreciated.!!
Thanx DK

I would go with the transgo hd2 kit and at least install the beast sunshell while I was in there

Thanx again....DK

Its not a total teardown, youll have to pull the pan, pump, input housing w drum, 2-4 band, snap ring and top planetary assy.

Nice ride, but I would scrap those Corvette covers on the engine and do some aluminium valve covers along with relocating the coil packs.

Yes you wont be far if your installing the TG 3-4 springs just a clip and a couple parts further down
