A-4 Trouble with the 1 - 2 shift!
A-4 Trouble with the 1 - 2 shift! I have a new 3500 stall torque converter and I'm pegging the rev limiter on my 1-2 shifts and can't seem to get the tranny to shift any earlier. I've got LS1 edit and have moved the shift MPH down by 6 - 7 MPH with no help. 2 - 3 shift is normal. Any ideas? I changed the Pressure Control solenoid but that was no help (P0748 code posted).

Re: A-4 Trouble with the 1 - 2 shift! Did you set the shift points by MPH and RPM or just MPH? If you left the RPM alone I would think that you might not have actually change the shift point. Different years work different ways. With my '02 I just moved the RPMs up and left the MPH alone and it works fine. However, that method doesn't work on '98s (so I hear.)
