Default Which STR on new billet verter?

I just ordered a new stage 2 trans with billet converter from Performabilt. The person was very nice, and when I told him I was already running a 2.1 3400 verter, he placed the order for a 4000 2.1 verter. But I was not totally comfortable with this, since recent threads had suggested that a lower STR might be more suitable.
My car: Weekend warrior, turbo LT-1, full weight (3700 lb.), estimated 600 rwhp, with everything else built correctly. The 10 bolt is still intact, but not for long.
What should I order as a converter? PB has been very nice about this, but I only want one converter.

To determine a good STR, the intended use of the vehicle is needed (ellaborate on weekend warrior). Also what kind of tires if it will be drag raced? What differential gears?

I typically recommend a higher STR for drag racers on slicks, but I also recommend a low STR for drag racers who run on street tires. Daily drivers I will recommend a middle of the road STR, which also works for road racers.

To me, a weekend warrior is a car that is only driven in nice weather and only to events where its performance may be demonstrated.
I run 255x50x16 on the street.
I will run 315x35x17 on the strip and during street runs.
I have a 3.42 gear in my stock 2 series 10 bolt.
My goal is to hook so well that a 9" must be installed.

If those tires are drag radials, what brand? Based on this the 2.1 would work fine, if the tires are MT street radials you can up it to a 2.2 or 2.4 (beeter launch and better ETs, but more prone to spin the tires).

For what its worth it is impossible to get actual stall torque readings on any combination without an in car test and a machine to measure it.There are converter dynos that test this but the results will never be completely accurate once the cars engine is on 1 side of the trans and the weight of the vehicle is on the other.Until someone creates an in car test and has a database of results they can only predict this # although the window of opportunity for different results is very small.
