Default Performabuilt Trans is finally in....

My level 2 performabuilt trans and 3000 stall is finally in. Now it's time for some tuning with the predator. Should I raise the shift firmness all the way up, which is 25%?? What about the part throttle shift, rpm shift point and mph shift point?? What's the main thing to tune with the built tranny and 3000 stall. New times coming soon

I just had a program completed by Diablo to set their performance tune transmission settings on the transmission back to stock, and delete the P0751and P0757 codes. The PB transmissions already have a 1/4 turn on the set screw to increase the line pressuure...i didn't want to compund the pressure with the performance tune. You also could decrease the pressure on the Predator by 25% negating the line pressure on the performance Diablo tune.
Or again...you may be doing your own tuning on your Diablo from your stock tune?
Good luck with your new Mod.... i also purchased a LVL 2, 3000 billet stall from PB, installation will be in a couple of weeks.

What about the shift time....should that be quicker or slower....-25 to +25. So leave the wot pressure alone. What about torque management. I had the first 2 options off on my stock trans and now it's still that way with the performa trans. The first 2 settings are tm abuse mode time and %torque reduction, both settings can be turned off or on....the thrid setting is upshift torque reduction which I've never touched. Part throttle shift is also softer to firmer....-25 to +25. I still have that on the plus side since I had my stock trans.

In reality you can reduce but you cannot raise the WOT PRESURE BEYOND THE SETTINGS WE HAVE.
I would set the others to 0 then see if you like the feel

Turned everything back to 0 and the shifts are better. Still have some small bugs to tune out.

Anything else just bring it back around, including grinding crossmembers . We can cut, chop, weld anything
