Default changing 4wd to 2 wd 4l80e

i picked up a 4l80e that was used for 4wd, ($50) and want to convert it to 2 wd use-is all i need an output shaft and rear housing? as i remember i also have to change out the rear plug for one with the small hole
the trans turned out to be a remaf. from GM, and looks like it may be in good shape-just gonna be a spare
i wonder if GM does any hardpart upgrades when they do them

You will need the output shaft, tailhousing, and the rear VSS reluctor wheel on the output shaft (along with a new VSS).

Sometimes GM puts the newer hard parts, sometimes they don't.

i forgot about the reluctor-is that what the rear sensor reads-it has a rear sensor, but now that i think about it,the 4wd used the transfer case for the sensor i think

Heres the orificed rear plug you need.

It feeds the pressure lubed rear bushing.

Not sure by I think you need the oil transfer tube also.

And heres the reluctor wheel that goes on the output carrier.
