Please dont refer to me as pimping. This certainly is not Hunts Point in the Bronx.,My intelligence is beyond that and I assume your is too.The drum is part 2 to the planet, and the final answer to direct clutch failure with some revised calbrations.Using a 106"steel for the upper and lower pressure and apply plates has worked for us and others very well.We use the 700 stamped apply plate ring under the 106 steel at the bottom. The hot spot is not at the end of the clutchpack, but rather in the center. As many of us are aware ,ASE test results by GM,Ford, and Chrysler in 2003 clearly explain this occurance.

Well Right now the clutches That are in there are from the TCI pro kit. Theres nothing wrong with them, just since I broke an Input sprag recently I figured I would upgrade to this pack since I had recently read about it. But after more research I will be dropping the transpak kit going to the transgo and leaving the 3/4 alone.

What is a Baseline line pressure I should have on this thing? It was my first transmission Its held up amazingly well just trying to learn more.

Default zpack from truck near 50 11-12 sec passes in little over 2 years 30000 miles

These are pictures from a truck we recenty had down for a look see. It runs in the high 11s and low 12s has around 30000 miles. weight around 4600 lbs and was actually used for some light towing too.
As you can see the z pack looks good which this is typical of how we see them when they do come in.
No sign of slipping and no warping. Before anyone ask they start off black lol.
So you can see why I say we have been happy with the result. Its a to each his own thing I guess.

Just wanted to post my pictures too
