Default to big of a stall???

a buddy of mine is selling a vig 4500 stall, it comes with a free reflash, and was wondering if that would be to big for my daily driver with my 3.23's, i have another car to drive but pretty much drive this car everyday.. right now i have a super yank 3500 and only get 1.78's on it...
i guess my real question is, should i keep it at 4500 or get it reflashed down to 3600 for my 3.23's?? thanks a lot!!

4400 will be loose but performance wise isn't too big. You need to find out exactly which pump it has. 4400 could have the #8 pump and that isn't ideal for a bolt-on car. The #7 pump actually stalls to around 4200 and that works well.
