Arrow Looking For An Improved/Better Version 4L60E Tailshaft Bushing

Any sponsors here sell an improved or better version (over what you could buy at any run of the mill auto parts store) of a 4L60E Tailshaft Extension Housing Bushing?

Thanx

Thumbs up

The best bushing available is Transtar #74066T, it's Teflon coated.

Thanx Dark horsebob - that's what I was looking for.

My original bushing was aluminum colored with a solid ID, the next one I got was bronze with little holes and sweeping grooves on ID

be careful, alot of those teflon coated bushings are oversize on the inside diameter.I use them too but they must be checked closely.

I use Teflon bushings from trans star as well. They last a very long time. Jay the first bushing you had was what I would call a babbit bushing. It's a pretty good bushing and would use it before the bronze one you installed last. My first choice as mentioned above would be a Teflon bushing. Vince
