That's definitely a part of it, also if you put in a big still with no tranny cooler then it's gonna go a lot sooner.

Sometimes, I wish I had a M6 but when I go to the track I dont think twice about having a a4! Ive owned both and the a4 is much more fun to drive especially for a 70-120 roll!

We have the best of both worlds. A murdered out 00 WS.6 (Wifes car) with a Cam, full bolt ons and an RPM Level V T56 with all the goodies, and my car which is Cammed, full bolt ons, suspension, 3.73s, 4k stall and PB Level 2 with a little bit of spray just in case.

I daily drive mine with a 4k stall. I drive it every chance i have, and not a single problem.. Ok, well besides wanting to mash the gas every chance i have.

Even though I don't race, I still prefer my stock A4. Dealing with Atlanta traffic every day of the week just isn't fun or all that practical in a manual IMO. I would probably go through about 50 clutches per year! Plus, I have heard that autos make the stock 10-bolt last a bit longer, even though my 96 firebird 3800 with 3.42's killed the stock rear as well! My 2000 Formula has the 2.73 gear ratio, so that should make it last a bit longer I hope!
