Anyone wish they had an M6?
No it actually isn not the stall that kills the tranny. Its the driver change like any thing that makes you go faster it just makes you wanna do it more often, The converter will not kill your trans its that knee jerk uncontrolable reaction that pushed the throttle to the floor that does lol
a lot sooner. We have the best of both worlds. A murdered out 00 WS.6 (Wifes car) with a Cam, full bolt ons and an RPM Level V T56 with all the goodies, and my car which is Cammed, full bolt ons, suspension, 3.73s, 4k stall and PB Level 2 with a little bit of spray just in case.
I daily drive mine with a 4k stall. I drive it every chance i have, and not a single problem.. Ok, well besides wanting to mash the gas every chance i have.
Even though I don't race, I still prefer my stock A4. Dealing with Atlanta traffic every day of the week just isn't fun or all that practical in a manual IMO. I would probably go through about 50 clutches per year! Plus, I have heard that autos make the stock 10-bolt last a bit longer, even though my 96 firebird 3800 with 3.42's killed the stock rear as well
! My 2000 Formula has the 2.73 gear ratio, so that should make it last a bit longer I hope!
