Default JR's FLT 4L60E GOES 151 AT BYRON!!

Well Guys after the NMCA National Corvette Shootout got rained out at Bowling Green, KY (only got two 1/8 mile test passes in) I finally got a chance to test with a 1/4 mile run. My 2000 C5 Corvette Coupe with the Chuck Johnson FLT 4L60E tranny went 9.39 @ 151 with a crappy 1.49 60' at Byron in some very humid weather. Looks like 2009 will be a very interesting year!! I will be racing on May 23rd at Cordova, IL in the IMSM Heads Up 9.50 Index Class - Wish Me Luck!!!

JR

Thumbs up

Wow that is badass. And some say you can't go fast in a 4L60E. Nice job to you and FLT. They certainly build a great transmission. I have their Level IV with 10K miles with zero problems.

Yeah me and half the city was not to happy when it got rained out. Funny thing is, when they closed the track it didn't rain a drop for atleast 3 hours.
Good Luck in IL

FLT is the best @ building the strongest & toughest trans out there...period....and it seams only guys that use FLT 4l60e trans keep posting these great #s.
you can buy the best from guys that really know what they are doing like FLT or buy from the guys that talk the most hype.........

REDGAR I think JR got knocked out early last weekend. That's racing! Good to hear that the car is working well and MPH'ing faster than ever! I look forward to some new personal bests this year. Vince
