4l65e?
ok so the ls1 camaros have the 4l60e but what is a 4l65e? is it stonger then the 60e?
also where is the best place to find a rebuild kit for the 60E?
also will the 65e bolt right up the ls1 and work with no problems?

The 4l65e and the 4l60e are essentially the same trans. The 65e has the addition of 5 pinion planets as oposed to 4 pinion in the 60e and a few other minor changes.
In stock for it is not apreciabley stronger than the 60e but in the 98 up camaro is a direct swap with the exception of changing the linkage shaft and the tail housing.
Electrically and physically they are the same as long as the 65e is a 2wd unit.
If your looking to built one or the other the kit and parts would be the same and you can just add the 5 pinion planets to the 60e but make sure they are OEM style.
