Default blowing thru converter?

Interested in what blowing thru the converter refers to? I noticed i had some crappy top end and am wondering if this is happening with my stall.

Means the converter become very inefficent under enough power and stalls higher than rated. Its a rather loose term but generally means the converter is not correct for the application.

oh ok..but how much power would roughly blow thru a converter..say im making 450ish hp would that be enough to blow thru my yank converter...im just debating putting my lil 2000 stall back in.

It depends on the model of converter. Some are tighter and will not blow through as easy and some are looser and will. What series Yank converter are you using?

The different series are going to be tighter or stronger. An SS series converter will be tighter where as a PY series will be a little looser it seems.
