Default 'Vette 4L60 issue

Just want some opinions on my girls '02 Vette. Just the other day it suddenly will not shift properly. And by suddenly I mean she came to my place, and everything was normal and when we left it wasn''t.

Will not shift into Reverse. The shifter moves, but the engine free-revs in R.

Shift to Drive and it moves, but doesn't seem to shift correctly... also doesn't seem to want to go into OD.

No signs of leakage at all.

My ideas are internal issues (not knowledgeable enough to be specific), or maybe the shift linkage has become goofed up somehow so it's not in the right position.

Opinions or anything I can do to help diagnose this? I'm afraid to drive it and cause further damage.

Sounds like she might have a broken or stripped out sunshell.
