if you wanted to make your 4l60e a little stronger what all would you do to it. i seen a stronger sun shell and a shift kit but any other else im gonna buy a stock 4l60e to replace mine that is going out but i dont wanna just put it in there stock so any ideas? or just skip the shift kit and get a vette servo and tune it?

 

Correction kit instead of the shift kit, if it came out of an f-body or vette it already has the vette servo, sun shell, better 3-4 clutches, better sprag, and maybe a wider 2-4 band.

 

where can i find this stuff at?

 

Most places carry a "rebuild kit" that comes with better clutches and steels and all the gaskets and seals you'll need, but to get the hard parts you'll have to order them seperate. You could call the # in Performabuilts sig and get what you need.

 

If the trans is in otherwise good shape. B/W dual cage sprag, Beast sun shell, transgo shift kit.
