Question question about tcc lockup

Does anybody on here know how to convert a truck 4l60e which has the pwm controlled lockup to a regular old on/off lockup supposedly like the F-bods have? I have been told it is a matter of replacing 1 spring but I need to know exactly what to do. Thanks in advance.

Superior Transmission and a few other companies sell the kit to do the conversion. I think you have to replace the solenoid and everything.

4l60's have had pwm lockup since 95 .. you can tell immediately by looking at the front of the pump, it'll have PWM cast into it... to defeat pwm, you simply block the valve in the valve body with something. Brake line works well
