Can the output shaft of the 6L80E trans be converted to use a standard yoke easily, or am I stuck with the ribber mounted joint that the G8 uses. On the GTO trans, you could just slip the yoke out and substitute a regular yoke, but it looks like the G8 can not.

An old thread but was wondering if you ever got an answer to this or if anyone knows for sure? I know you can buy a kit to swap them out, but how hard is it? Are there any special tools required?
