Blowing though the converter?
Blowing though the converter? We'll I have had my car for a month or so and it seemed to be down on top end power. I had a pcmforless tune and shift kit done in hopes that it was a computer issue, no luck. I took it to a shop and they told me one of the cats was clogged, so yesterday I put LT headers and an ORY on. Actually feels like it made it slower. Could I have a bad converter and be blowing through it, and the more power I put to it the worse the problem gets? I'm running out of ideas.

Man I would find someone with HP tunners in your area. If you change the headers that will change your air fuel may make run richer or leaner. I took a set of pacesetter headers 1 3/4 and went to a kooks stepped race header 1 7/8 to 3 1/2 exhaust and it made mine way lean and run like crap. Any time you change fuel or air you need someone to tune it stay away from mail order tunes there usually made super safe so you cant blame them if you blow it up. BUT YOU LOSE POWER.

No codes, and the tune may be off now but its been down on power since I got it. Putting the headers and ORY on just made it alot worse. Changed plugs at the same time (tr55's). I'm going in this week to have it retuned. Through Hptuners can you read the amount of slippage of the converter?
you can read the slippage with hptuners... what converter are you running? I'd be suprised if your blowing through any converter out there just on motor. If your spraying possibly, but i didn't see you mention it.
It looks like a restalled factory unit, I dont know who made it. it doesnt stall much higher maybe 2000 on the footbrake. What else could it be? Motor is solid and the rearend wouldnt slip power.
as mentioned above. Adding headers can potentially hurt you power wise if you don't have it tuned. They can throw your a/f way off. When you get it tuned they should be able to fill you in on a lot
