Default Finally Some Pics Of Install!

I still have a few little things to tidy up, and still need a pic of the Cheetah Shifter installed. But This was a pretty straightforward install with the exception of the tranny mount, and a few small details.

Braided lines, with Aeroquip fittings. Those and the cooler came with my tranny kit from Madman.

No adapter plate. Only one hole is skipped if you don't use one. Thats the latest TA from Spohn, by far one of the easiest installs on the entire car. Had to hog out the top front bolt hole a little for it to fit on the Moser housing.

One word of advice. I used the braided lines on my TH400 install. And be VERY careful of the routing with them. Make sure they arent touching anything under there. I didn't notice that mine were rubbing on one of my AC lines from the compressor and it rubbed a hole in it Just an FYI

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Its finally home. After months of waiting, chewing my finger nails, and copping a bad attitude with my wife.....the bitch (the car) is now home!!!!!! Just took it for its first little test drive around the block. I got bad looks from one neighbor and one person sitting in traffic. It's loud, obnoxious, and just plain mean!!

Transbrake works great, rearend has no leaks, squeaks, or whine. Stay tuned, cause the bitch is gonna be at the track come April! Mid 10's for starters (I hope), then its Stroker/Vortech T-Trim time.

How is the 4000 stall on the street? also, how are your revs at about 65mph? (what gears are you running too). I'm looking at a TH400 setup as well (trans is in the garage)

I'm using an M6 crossmember. I have no idea what my revs are at 65, because the car has only ventured out of the garage twice this week, and only on city streets. Breaking in the new 12 bolt right now.

As far as how the converter feels on the street....its loose as hell, but I've had worse. It's actually kind of annoying, when you take a sharp turn (I run a spool and 4.10 gears) and you have to goose her a little to keep rolling at slow speeds.
BUT.....after your on a straight patch a road, and load up the tranny (footbrake) and launch it, you will be very happy. OR....you hold the transbrake button, floor it and release, you will have a small orgasm!!

Big converters always have thier drawbacks, mainly extra tranny heat, nuisance in traffic, etc. But for racing, you can look past all that.
