Default Vibration under load - shim trans crossmember?

Well I did a LS1/4l60e swap on a 95 camaro v6/5 speed. At first I noticed a strange vibration/slipping feeling when accelerating hard from a dead stop. It didn't feel like it was coming from the trans but more like the rear end/drive shaft area. I put a new rear end in and same problem. I then put a prothane trans mount(summit pn ptp-7-1604 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PTP-7-1604/) on and it's much worse. I can now feel it under moderate load in first and second. Only suspention mod is intrax springs and I had to use the v6/5 speed crossmember which I had to make a new hole for the trans mount to go through. Should I try shimming the trans crossmember with washers to see if maybe goes away? That's the only thing I could find to do when searching on here. I just don't want to damage anything. Thanks for any input.
