Default 2004R 1st gear slipping help

I have a 2004r trans build by art carr to handle 800+ hp. It has been in the truck for a year behind a stock ls1, now it has a turbo, and makes 470rwhp.
I have put about 300 miles on it with the turbo. Last night, I ran a couple cobras, and now 1st gear is slipping real bad, and it doesnt want to shift out. All other gears still shift fine, except first. My question is can I fix it myself, or is it f**ked up??

It's either a low roller clutch or forward clutches slipping.
It needs a rebuild.

I just drove it again, and as you accelerate in 1st gear, if you let off of the gas for a sec. it shifts hard normal. Could it be something in the vb?
