deep oil pan

Default deep oil pan

i want to get a deep oil pan. which one is the best. i want to get the most out of my transmission. thanks in advance.

I am guessing you mean the trans pan. Check the B&M ones. I dont know much about the A4's but I have heard of a couple guys running the deeper pans. I would be a little worried about clearence though.

The TCI deep pan I put on the other day, is now the
lowest hanging thing on the car. I guess maybe I'd better get long-tubes to protect it

I have never seen a deep engine oil pan, they're
castings and "structural" on this engine so the
aftermarket may not have made that gamble yet.

If you are talking about the trans pan ....TCI offers a 4qt add. and a 2qt. This is the info on the 2qt. pan


One of the best investments you can make to assure longevity of your automatic transmission is a cast aluminum deep pan. Designed with cooling fins to dissipate heat faster, these pans also provide additional strength and rigidity to the transmission case. No modifications are necessary to the stock dipstick and the pan includes magnetic drain plug, fluid pickup extension, pan gasket and new rail bolts and washers. Holds 2 additional qts.
