SS4000 owners come on in
I got some serious M6s I need to rape from a dig and a roll around here. The kind of M6s that need to be taught some things about just how a stalled auto works.
And yeah I had to do something, the only converter I have laying around is a stock one.
And I had an offer on the table to swap to an M6, but I drove a friends recently and frankly I didnt like it near as much as I thought I would.
How many others have switched from Precision Industries to Yank? Can anyone prove that either one was more efficient?
What kind of gains are people seeing going from stock stall to the SS4000 on a bolt on car? I'd get a cam for the car eventually. Also are most of you guys running your stock tranny or a built one?
There isn't anything wrong with the 3600...i'm running a built tranning now.
Nice, ask him why i didn't get one...

as for the gain i dropped more than half a second at the track and picked up 1mph over stock with same DA conditions with the ss line

Just don't expect much, that way you won't get your feelings hurt if it doesn't gain much.
after i got it tuned, holy cow it was awsome. track time in SIG.. converter is set to lock up at 60mph in drive only, and when it does it pures down the highway. ive gotten 23mpg with it driving about 65%highway 35% city. very well manored stall.
How does it drive if you get caught in the rain, just have to use your head with it? Thats my only concern is if I were to drive the car with that big of a stall and get caught in a storm. But I guess if you are smart about how you drive it shouldn't be an issue.
