Default Trany whine? Mabe converter?

Well i was raceing some one on the street a while back and had a little problem with the tranny broke sun shell and many other things in there. The thing is the tranny is makeing a bad noise like the pump is out on the tranny. The person who did my trany put a new pump in the tranny. Could my converter be makeing the bad whine(It is a PT4400 if it matters). I have only put mabe 25 miles on new tranny dont want to brake any thing i have no problem pulling converter and sending it in to get fixed just like no know what it is.

I would take it back to the builder for inspection. I never heard or seen a converter make a "whine"... chatter maybe, but not whine.

Was the converter taken apart and inspected when the tranny was out?

Converters can whine like crazy when they go bad. I would check the pump first, if that looks OK then have the converter inspected by Yank if you're unsure. Blowing a trans can damage a converter, and likewise putting a damaged converter in a new trans can blow a trans, especially if there is some debris trapped in the converter, even if the converter was drained.
