Default HELP!!! a4 problem

so last night i was driving. went to go from a stop and when it shifted to 2nd it was like throwing it into park. so im pretty sure that 2 gears are stuck at the same time. it moves fine in 1st and reverse. but thats it. who else has had this happen? whats the most common cause? solenoid? is it the plate kit? 2-4 band? accumulator prob? im going to diag it tonight. im just trying to get a good idea of what to check first before i get there. i NEEEEEEDDDDD my car saturday. its kinda hard to co-host an event if i cant even drive my own car! know what i mean? thanks for any info guys

sounds like the low roller sezed possibly will require a complete tear down and possible hard parts. Where are you located ?

ITS TOAST! So now i have to decide how im going to go about this. Either i rebuild it and save a whole bunch of money or i have a guy i know do it that is cheap as hell. He does the complete rebuild with beefed internals, new pump and an 02 pan for 650. I dont have a problem with doing it myself, i just dont know what rebuild kit i should use.

Unfortunatley I do really have a preference for a rebuild kit , What we use is a peice from here and a peice from there not a complete kit. That way we get the most ideal parts IMO for our builds. You can look at what we use in our builds on the website if that helps.
