Default small problem?

Hi all, once in awhile my trans seems to be stuck in gear 1-4.
when leaving a light 1st gear seems to need to be revved more before shifting to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd more rev's, then on to OD more rpm, the rev's are higher in the 3-4k range for 1st-2nd, 2500-3500 2nd-3rd and this is under normal driving conditions.
I have a lil over 86k on the clock, the fluid is full, no burnt smell, still red.
it seems that it happens mostly when the car is hot, meaning in traffic red light stop & go.
I DD it to and from work and this has become more noticeable over the past 4 months or so.
any Ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Bill

only recent code was a P1415, 2 week's ago. (advanced read it for me) which was for one of the check valves for the air pump, so I replaced both since they looked to be original.
code before that was last year(read by auto zone) and it was something for the voltage not consistant on the TPS, if I remember right. cleared that and it never came back.
no other SES or CEL(s) have come on.
Thanks for the reply.

TPS readings will effect the way the trans functions. I would probably address that first. Vince

Thumbs up

I found some info on it here, the relation to TPS etc. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...lush-more.html , are the codes stored forever or if cleared are they gone for good?
my TPS code was last year and the guy at autozone cleared it and as I said the other code was the other week for the check valve, thats been the only SES lights since I've had the car.
Thanks Very Much for your insight and suggestions.

If they are cleared they are gone for good unless the issue happens again that caused them

well that sucks, since that TPS code was last year. it was cleared and never happend again.
any other Ideas on what the shifting issue may be?
it doesn't happen everyday, just once in awhile.
Thanks in advance
