mine is kinda doing the same things i know my first gear should be good and broke thanks to me letting my dumb *** friend drive me one night i got drunk and could not drive home. he revs the engine up at a stop light and it turned green on him he was still at about 3k rpms threw the rev and put it back into drive... so yeah no when i take off around the 2k rpm range threw about 13mph untill 20mph it will not shift. but right at 20mph it shifts fine so i can deal with it untill i get a new one. but if i punch the gas and am not running about 70 or 80mph then when it down shifts it just revs out and hits the rev limiter. not sure why it is doing that tho. if anyone knows anything i should try please let me know i might drop the transmission pan tomorrow and see what kinda damage i have in there.

also how would the maf cause the trans to mess up?
