I was driving normall for a while around town and then i go home. I give it a little gas to go up my driveway and it just revs n doesnt move. SO i think ohh great my tranny is slipping. But it only has 30k miles on the car ! and within the last 3 months i added a 3200 stall vigelante tc and a B&M cooler. I shut the car off and started it again. The car acts the same and the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light is on. I shut off and let it cool down for 2 min and restart and it drives fine. reverse and drive works but still the SES light is on i am now reseting the pcm but what do i do now ?? iom clueless im really worried my tranny is broken and im too poor to get it fixed please let me knwo what i should do go to gm n get the code read ??

the chevy dealor said 2-3 shift selenoid in the tranny is prolly messed up. I hope thats the only problem they also said 300 bucks roughly to fix does this sound right ?? should i worry or ask about other things??

id pull the code first and get a few other estimates before going through the dealer.

Excuse me for suggesting the obvious...Did you check trans fluid? If mine is just a half quart low it acts up.

 

yeah i checked actually i was a lil over full and everything still smelled pink n fresh
