Default 408/Auto guys come in....

I'm trying to decide on a good stall the will eventually be behind my 408. The car is full exhaust with a lid but might do a cam while waiting on the 408. What size/brand converter are you using with what cam? And this is not my race car. It's my weekend cruiser that is 98% street car and would like to be able to take it on long trips if needed.

Thanks, Mike

Yank PT3400 here. Drives great. I haven't had a problem with it.

I would suggest our 4C for your setup and desired driving style. It will work very well in your current setup, especially when you add the cam. Then when the 408 comes together, it will bump the stall up a bit from the extra HP, giving you a very nice street toy.

We could also do a 2C to be a little more conservative or a 5C to be more aggressive. But the 4C would be my choice.

What would I be looking at cost whise for the 4c and how much can it handle? What are the avaliable stall rates for this converter?

The 4C would be about a 3600 behind your current combo and about a 4000 with the stroker. Here is a link to the Stage I billet series - http://www.circledspecialties.com/Co...Pages/LS1.html

We also offer free shipping to Tech members.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

The 450HP rating is quite conservative, I need to update my website. I have the Stage I in 500RWHP cars with a 150 shot and everything is fine. So I would assume the 408 will be about 500 RWHP when done, so you will be fine. If you wanted to step up to the Stage II they are $150 more.
