I vote Circle D... my stall isn't near the size you want but I've had no problems at all from my Circle D...

+1, I'll be going with FTI for my converter when the time comes.

Man my set up and yours is very similiar. I tried 3 different converters before I found one that showed the potential of my iron block 408. I blew through 2 from a very popular converter builder here and then I went with the Circle D 5 C. We had a Circle D 4L60E at the time and it put down 1.29 60fts on motor. It hauled the mail like it was designed to do.

Save your self some $$ and headaches and do it right the first time.

That FLT tranny and a Circle D will be an excellent match for your engine and the power it puts out.

We now run a Circle D Powerglide and a Circle 230mm race converter. It has gone 1.29s with our 445 stroker with the soft hitting 1.80 1st gear and 4.11 rear gears.

I'm now on my second Yank and could not be happier (SS3600 and now PT4000). If I were to go with another company I would go Circle D, you really can't go wrong with either from what I've seen.

Circle D all the way. I have a FLT 4L60 with the Circle D 5C converter. My 60 ft times are a consistent 1.42-.43.
