Well i pulled my tranny out a few days ago because the 3-4 clutch pack was out. So i bought a TCI rebuild kit and had it rebuilt. Well then today i go to put the tranny back in and everything goes back in nice, so then i go to start the car and it makes this loud tapping noise coming from the tranny. Well then i turn the car off and add more fluid and the noise gets a lot quieter. Well then i put the car in gear while its on jackstands and give it a little bit of gas and the back tires dont spin at all. They dont move no matter what gear i put it in. Any ideas on what the problem is?

 

Did you prime the converter? How much did you dump in the pan before you started it?
