Default Trans ?

Ok my car has 109k miles on it. It still chirps the tires going into 2nd gear. I want to add a converter, shift kit and a cooler? Should I go ahead and rebuild the transmission on just add the parts?

If it's working fine, just add the goodies and go.

Yeah, if you dont feel it slippin or have any issues, do it to it. Make sure you get a good tune for the mods, and rock it. If you have the money to go built as well, it cant hurt though. I think its easier to do things once, but im sure alot of people are still running stock trans/stall setups.

I say if you got the money for the trans, then do it by all means. My trans has 108k on it and running strong......but for how long??
