Loose or tight ?

You will want a converter that is built for the spray, not just the for the motor. Lets say you get a 3800 for the motor and it works great. But when you spray it with the N20 it will increase the stall and re-flash the converter to 4500+??, thus practically wasting the extra HP to heat in the trans fluid. So you build a 3800 for the nitrous so when you spray it only goes to 3800 and the extra power gets to the tires.

Ditto on chris. A nitrous converter is a totaly diffent animal than a motor converter. Blade angles, stator blade count and clearances must be different for a nitrous peice. We do a lot of nitrous converters such as Petes nova that just set the world record at 4.88 at 148 on 275 drag radials and leaf springs(tock suspension) at 3300 lbs.
