Default My installed B&M Hammer Pics
I just swapped over from a T56 to an A4 and decided to go with the B&M Hammer. I figured I would give it a shot installing it using the B&M plate and the factory A4 upper console. I think it came out pretty good... I have to give my buddy Ryan thanks for helping with the whole A4 install

the face plate looks like it sticks up higher than factory.

Looks good. How hard was the install? How much does the plate stick up over the console?

The front and rear don't stick up much at all the middle does because the factory console is concave right there. My Trailblazer SS factory console sticks up more that this does. Never the less, I like the look of the B&M plate and the gear indicator works... Install wasn't too bad. Just took my time with a lot of trimming to get it to fit right.

No manual valve body... I just don't like the look of the stock shifter and wanted something different....

Nope, I put a 4l60E in it... I am not trying to manually control the transmission. I put it in drive and go. I just like the look of tha aftermarket shifter. I am not fond of the stock shifter...

You could have just swapped out the handle. Maybe a little modifications, but may have been cheaper and easier. I'd like to do something similar as well.

I really wanted a ratchet shifter. It really wasn't hard to do the swap.
