Default How durable are these?

Im looking at picking up the Hughes performance Street Strip TH350. I was wondering if anybody has any good or bad experiances with this model and what kind of HP/TQ it can handle. Any help would be great

Just by looking at the non-sponsored link I see a couple things I do not like. First off the picture is not of a TH350 it is a TH400. Also the description of parts is pretty vague. It really does not tell you what is being installed in the unit. Being that I work in the business it is kind of weird that they do not tell potential customers what they are getting for their money. The warranty is 90 days and pretty much only seems to cover the clutches and seals. Hughes has been around for a long time and for that it is a plus. I know that the transmission sponsors of this site do sell these units and would probably be able to list what they would install. Just my 2cents. I would give a few of us a call before doing anything. I think you might get a little bit more for your money. Vince

Im currently putting down about 500whp and might do a small shot of nitrous later on. In the end if anyone can offer me a th350 auto/manual forward shift pattern that will take the power reliabley, I will consider it. The car is mainly a weekend cruiser with occasional track use.

Guys take a look at this thread. A TH350 can be built to take some abuse and then some!
