There's a lot more to it than that though, in the real world it affects how tight or loose a converter feels. It also has to do with how hard it "hits" the rear wheels.

And yes, it'll work fine with that cam...not that that cam wouldn't benefit even more with a higher stalling converter...it would. But it will work well.
